Passover Seder Song Parodies

The above is the new posting of song parodies (Passover song lyrics) you can use for your Passover (Pesach) seder, which are selections from the Herman Family Haggadah.  They are meant to be light-hearted and in most cases not intended to be funny or excessively silly, and in tune with the seder (pun intended). There were three new songs added for 2015, two new songs for 2016,  two new songs for 2017, one new song for 2018, two new ones for 2019, two new ones for 2020 (posted late due to Covid 19), none for 2021, three new ones for 2022, and now one new one for 2023. You are most welcome to use them at your seder, but please do not redistribute them as is or in any modified form.

These songs have been met with acclaim at Herman Family seders, with comments ranging from  “Irving, another song?” (as one would say to a dentist “Doctor, another cavity?”) to “Do we have to sing ALL of them?”. The new song this year is Joining our Seder. The set of songs includes the “Four Cups of Wine Suite;” the songs start sounder better and better with each progressive cup of wine.  The new songs last year were In My Life,  Sweet Wine-ness, and Wine from a Bottle. The last two can be used for any of the four cups of wine. There are now a total of nine songs that can be used while drinking wine during the seders. (This entire collection is updated annually at the Herman Family Seders.  Each of these new songs will undergo rigorous testing before being posted here (i.e., if the attendees survive hearing a given song, it will be eligible for posting).)

Unless you are a hearty soul, I would suggest starting with low doses of songs, and build up, until you notice side-effects, if any. The new edition has more specific suggestions to help guide the perplexed and a Table of Contents.
